Wow! LeoLionni would be proud!   We came up with fantastic alternate endings to "Tillie and the Wall". Our artwork was equally as impressive. I am so proud! And so were our author/illustrators!

LEGENDARY FLAVOURS & FIRED UP WITH FUN PRESENTS:

Monday March. 23^rd to Friday March.27^th, is our spirit week at Stevenson! We are going to be holding a fundraising food stand. The food stand will be open during am & pm recesses. The proceeds go to Doctors Without Borders. You won’t want to miss this… Snacks include:

Monday at the back doors– Milky Monday, selling milk and cookies

Tuesday at the back doors – Juice boxes/chips

Wednesday at the back doors– Milk and muffins

Thursday, outside of the gym during the movie

– Pretzels, popcorn and pop

Friday, outside of the gym during the basketball game

– Juice boxes and candy bags

But that’s not all…

On Thursday March 26^th, we are also going to have a movie in the gym and it is “Finding Nemo”. Legendary Flavors will sell some treats and snacks for the movie. On Friday March 27^th, we have a basketball game it is students vs. teachers. Legendary Flavors will sell some snacks and drinks during this event as well.

What's that smell?

We investigated our sense of smell. We learned safe science experiment procedures. Our focus question was "Can we use our sense of smell to identify an odour?" Our hypothesis was "we will be able to identify the odours" we had fun with this investigation ! 

How do you feel...?

Today we were learning about our sense of touch. We know that skin is the organ we use for our sense of touch. We did an experiment to find out if we could identify objects with our sense of touch. We learned our sense if touch keeps us safe by making us "feel" a certain way when we "feel" things.  Cassie got a surprise when she felt what was in the mystery box. :) She jumped!!!! We talked with our friends about how things make us feel when we feel them.
