Artists at work!
Wow! Our spring trees sure are beautiful. We learned two new painting techniques-watercolour on wet paper and blow painting. Hopefully you can come and see the pictures in real life.

Tipi Joe came to visit
We worked with an artist named Tipi Joe. He told us all about the 7 teachings. The lessons are all about how to be a good person. There are 7 animals that remind us of the 7 lessons. We learned about teaching long ago and how children learned through stories. He even brought a real tipi for us to see.
Georgia O'Keefe art inspired us!
We were inspired by the work of artist Georgia O'Keefe. She painted pictures of things do they looked very close up. We noticed that sometimes the focal point if her painting wasn't centred and sometimes only part of the object she painted was on the paper.
